Prologue 04:48
„At the midpoint on the journey of life, I found myself in a dark forrest. For the straight forward pathway Has been lost … Ah me! How hard a thing it is to say What was this forest savage, rough, and stern, Which in the very thought renews the fear. So bitter is it, death is little more; but of the good to treat, which there I found, Speak will I of the other things I saw there …"

about

In the actual 2-CD-Studio-Release INFERNO Krischan leads us wit his musical expression to another famous history of literature - The "Divine Comedy" of the Italian poet Dante Alighieri.

Written in the first person, the poem tells of Dante's journey through the three realms of the dead, lasting from the night before Good Friday to the Wednesday after Easter in the spring of 1300. The Roman poet Virgil guides him through Hell and Purgatory; Beatrice, Dante's ideal woman, guides him through Heaven.

This symphonic composition leads to all parts of Krischan's new release in 2015. Follow him through the dark forests, hunted by obscured creatures, on surreal rivers through different segments of the nine circles of hell down to the middle of the earth - the geocenter.

„At the midpoint on the journey of life,
I found myself in a dark forrest.
For the straight forward pathway
Has been lost …

Ah me! How hard a thing it is to say
What was this forest savage, rough, and stern,
Which in the very thought renews the fear.

So bitter is it, death is little more;
but of the good to treat, which there I found,
Speak will I of the other things
I saw there …"
