about

In those nights, when I look to the stars, various pictures and sounds “creep” in my brain. Each of the white dots in the sky could be a nebula, a galaxy or a single star long ago burned out. But its light still reaches our small planet so far – our “ambient” light, our “ambient electronic”. AMBIELECTRONIC! “Flying to the Moon” and the journey begins …

Creeping the Soil:
The rain is one of my favorites. Flashes and rolling thunders penetrate through time and space – a lonesome dog barks throughout the night. This is the time for creatures “creeping” down the glittering asphalt. They’re watching us, as mankind stands on its next level to space. But for now, all creatures dance to this basic stomp – hopefully.

Simple Downtown:
This was one of my first tracks which was produced with “Ableton Live”. Some tracks were made available by Michael Cretu in the context of the Enigma Xound remix competition. This is my contribution to it. Walking alone through the streets of my city – the rain is still falling. My heartbeat leads me to different sound experiments – finally experiences.

Nuits Blanches (Destiny Remix):
Another contest, another music style. Only a few tracks were made available by Blank & Jones. Very precious drums play together with warm pads and synth styles. I tried to find out what is beyond a very long delay. Perhaps one Spanish word stands for that: “Intemporal” – Timeless.

Recognizing Stars:
“Oh my God, it’s full of stars!” This quotation is from one of the best SF movies of all times - "2001, A Space Odyssey". After all the long time in the vague solitude of his spaceship Dave Bowman sees the innermost part of himself. I tried to come along with him – in several ways. Due to the length of this title, I decided to cut this title about a few seconds.

Razor:
Inspired by the “No. 6 theme” of “Battlestar Galactica” I tried to put different attitudes in this track. On the one hand we hear timelessly famous personalities who were murdered due to her moral or political attitude, Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Gandhi. On the other hand we hear the familiar things in life, which one make us laugh or cry - a laughing child, screwing twitter and peaceful nature. When will we learn what is wrong or right?

Encounter:
Even today, when I hear that five tones (C-major pentatonic) in my ears again, my blood runs cold. “He said the sun came up last night. He said, she sang to him!” A long baseline leads you through your mind while you’re searching for the close encounter.

Se(a) Inside:
Just imagine yourself you’re driving at the West Coast, you hear the waves of the Grand Ocean, passing several landmarks with the wind in your hair - and the street never ends. Your thoughts drifting away to a very special person you had loved once... Perhaps this is the song for your next ride to eternity.

Silent Elements:
Our world is sometimes full of danger. Very small bacteria – Silent Elements – penetrate our bodies. And they still dance – in this moment, all the time. This is one of my favorite songs, a Bolero with 100 bpm. It takes a long time to accomplish that song – was it worthwhile? I hope so.

So far, so close:
These all are the first tracks made, arranged and mastered with Ableton Live. Enjoy them!
